Le loto des couleurs!

A game of bingo to see, learn and name colours and objects.  This game also develops memory and observation skills.

How to play:

Place all the picture cards face down on the table or floor.  Each player chooses a coloured sheet.

The first player turns over a picture card.  If it matches a picture on their card, they place it on the sheet.  If not, they place it face down again.  Play continues with each player taking turns.  The winner is the first person to find all the pictures on their sheet.

Ages 2+ years

Variation ideas: 

• Play as a cooperative game to fill up a coloured sheet together.
• Set up as a sorting activity for young children, with pictures laid face up and simply sorting and matching to fill up the coloured sheet.
• Use the picture cards to create a storytelling activity.  For example, a child might choose 3 picture cards, then tell a story to link the pictures together.
